Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation is proud to host an opportunity for youth ages 6-15 to participate in a national skills competition sponsored by the National Football League (NFL). The NFL Punt, Pass & Kick (PPK) program is being held on Saturday, September 15 from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm at the Princess Anne Athletic Complex, located at 4001 Dam Neck Road in Virginia Beach.
Established in 1961, the PPK program is the oldest NFL Youth Football program where youth are placed in five separate age divisions and compete against each other in punting, passing and place kicking in a fun and engaging forum. The program also fosters teamwork while teaching football fundamentals in a non-contact environment.
There is no cost to participate in the NFL PPK Program, and pre-registration is not required. For more information about the NFL Punt, Pass & Kick event taking place at the Princess Anne Athletic Complex, contact Beth McGowan at 385-0478.
