The Hampton Roads Sports Commission is pleased to announce that “Color me Rad” will take place for the first time in Hampton Roads. This event is a 5 kilometer, untimed, fun run, in which participants get coated with a rainbow of colored dye as they run through the course. Matt Ward, of Color Me Rad, said, “We are thrilled to bring this one-of-a-kind event to southeastern Virginia for the first time. Our goal is to grow the event and make it an annual run in Virginia Beach.”

“Color Me Rad” will take place at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex (2181 Landstown Rd.) on Sunday, May 6 beginning at 9am. For more information and to register, visit
