Come run as much or as little as you want over the course of 12 hours. The race consists of multiple laps of a 1.5 mile loop, in Chesapeake VA Oak Grove Lake Park, which provides a mixture of panoramic views of the lake, as well as forested and wildlife. The tree-lined course is flat and is completely unpaved. There will be one aid station at the start of the race. The race will be limited to 50 runners.
This is a great opportunity for families to experience top level bike racing in Chesapeake! Virginia Senior State Championship!

The annual KayaXpedition is a kayaking, canoeing and stand-up paddle-boarding festival in Chesapeake. There's something for everyone this year, including paddlers, music lovers, and families. Reservations required for most events.

Family, friends, and neighbors are cordially invited to come celebrate Bike Month with the Chesapeake Bicycle/Trails Advisory Committee, the Tidewater Bicycle Association (TBA), and Safe Routes to School Chesapeake. Bring your bike and enjoy 12+ miles of paved trails and great family friendly bike activities including a bike rodeo, bike maintenance demos, and visit with a bike mechanic. Parking & restrooms available.

Bring your pup to the 5K & 1-Mile Doggy Dash on Saturday, May 5th, 2018 at Chesapeake City Park. Runners and walkers are encouraged to bring the whole family, including the dog! This Cinco de Mayo fun run kicks off with a 1-Mile run/walk at 9:00 am, followed by a 5K run at 9:30 am. All proceeds from the race benefit Chesapeake Humane Society.
